The Thinker, c. 1933
A fine quality, twentieth century cast of a Seated Woman entitled ‘La Pensée, Thérèse drapée’ by Robert Wlerick (French, 1882-1944). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process at the Coubertin Foundry, Paris. It is signed ‘R. Wlerick’ and stamped with the Coubertin foundry mark. It has a brown patina with darker undertones.
