Penelope, Medium version, c. 1909
A fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a standing woman entitled ‘Pénélope Attendant’, intermediate version by Emile-Antoine Bourdelle (French, 1861-1929). This bronze was produced using the lost wax casting process at the Susse Foundry, Paris. It is signed, dated, numbered and inscribed and has a mottled green and brown patina.
