Nude Woman, c. 1891
A fine quality rare early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Female Torso’ by Jules Dalou (French, 1838 – 1902). This sculpture was cast in bronze using the lost wax process by the A. A. Hebrard Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped ‘Dalou’, ‘A. A. Hebrard’ ‘Cire Perdue’. This sculpture has a medium brown patina with darker brown undertones.
