Simone Marye

A good quality, twentieth century bronze of a ‘Donkey Foal’ by Simone Marye (French, 1890-1961). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax and has a dark brown to black patina.
