Armand Petersen

A good quality, early twentieth century bronze model of an ‘English Blackbird’ by Armand Petersen (French / Swiss 1891-1969). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the sand cast process at the Emile Godard foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed ‘A. Petersen’ and inscribed ‘E Godard Fondr Paris’. It has a dark brown patina with golden undertones.
