Two Crowned Cranes, c. 1930
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of ‘Two Crowned Cranes’ by Frans Jochems (Belgian, 1880-1949). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Batardy Foundry in Brussels. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax ‘F. Jochems’ and ‘Batardy Cire Perdue Bruxelles’. It has a brown patina with black undertones.
