Dachshund with Ball, 1908
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Daschshund with a Ball’ by Josue Dupon (Belgian, 1864-1935). This bronze was produced using the lost wax casting method at the Petermann Foundry in Brussels circa 1908. It signed ‘Josue Dupon’, inscribed ‘Fondrie NATle Des Bronzes, ANCne Firme J Petermann, St Gilles Bruxelles’ and dated ‘1908’ and has a brown patina with golden undertones.
