Condor, 1907
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Condor’ by Josue Dupon (Belgian, b.1864). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Madrassi Foundry, Belgium. Prior to casting it was signed, inscribed and stamped in the wax ‘Josue Dupon’ ‘Cire perdue O. Madrassi’. This bronze has a brown patina with black undertones.
