The Irish born artist Gareth Knowles is particularly known for his studied still-life scenes of sporting subjects.
Knowles became a professional sculptor in 1983, achieving almost instant recognition when, in 1984, he became the youngest ever person to receive a commission from Garrards, the Crown Jewellers.
He has completed many ambitious commissions from clients in the UK and internationally for both private and public sculptures. Gareth comments ‘I’ve met some of the best craftsmen and makers in the world on my path to realising my clients sculptural dreams’. He also makes his own art, indulging his passions to create pieces that personally inspire him.
