Seated Leopard, 1920
An early twentieth century, bronze model of a ‘Seated Leopard’ by Georges Lucien Guyot (French,1885-1973). This bronze was produced using the lost wax casting process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘Guyot’, ‘Susse Frs Fonds Paris’, It was a brown and black patina with golden undertones.
