Whippet drinking from a Bowl, life-size, c.1880
A rare, fine quality, life-size nineteenth century bronze model of a ‘Whippet Drinking from a Bowl startled by a Frog’ by Alfred Jacquemart (French, 1824-1896). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process at the Paillard Foundry, Paris. It is signed ‘A. Jacquemart’. It has a medium brown patina with reddy undertones.
