Seated Hounds, Pointer and Setter with Game, Medium Version, c. 1860

Ferdinand Pautrot

A fine quality, mid-nineteenth century pair of bronze models of a ‘Pointer and Setter with Game’ by Ferdinand Pautrot (French, 1832 – 1874). These bronzes are both inscribed ‘F. Pautrot’ and AMIS AUX BEAUX ARTS’. They have a dark brown patina with red and golden undertones.
