Since the Hommage à Maillol organised in 1961 at the Musée National d’Art Moderne for the centenary of his birth, no true monographic exhibition has been dedicated to Aristide Maillol at a Parisian museum. Earlier this year, the Musée d’Orsay devoted a major retrospective to this important artist, who played a crucial role in the early 20th century, during the birth of modernity.

The exhibition will then be displayed at the Kunsthaus Zurich from October 7, 2022 to January 23, 2023, and then at La Piscine – Musée d’art et d’industrie André Diligent de Roubaix from February 18 to May 21, 2023.
