A fine quality bronze model of a ‘Cubist Head’ entitled ‘Head of a Caryatid’ by Amedeo Modigliani (Italian, 1884-1920). This bronze, signed in the original stone by the sculptor ‘Modigliani’, was cast by the Godard Foundry, Paris and was stamped in the wax ‘E. Godard cire perdue’. It has a dark brown patina with beige undertones.
