We are delighted to present this new collection of sculpture by Mark Coreth.  The catalogue is based upon Mark’s visit to Brazil in June last year, for his first exploration of the Pantanal.

The range of subject matter on this safari, as Mark explains, was vast, since the Pantanal is a ‘wildlife-watcher’s paradise’. His chosen title for this exhibition: ‘A Glimpse into the Pantanal’ reflects the nature of this trip. The focus was to sculpt the magnificent jaguar, which is the highlight of this show.  Mark has captured the drama and intensity of this animal and its life along the river.  His models of otter, caiman, and the maned wolf, as well as the toucan, show us his encounters with just some of the other species in this special part of the world.
