Description:

A fine quality, rare, mid-nineteenth century, atelier bronze model of a Turkish Horse with right leg raised entitled ‘Cheval Turc no. 2’, by Antoine-Louis Barye, (French, 1796-1875). This bronze was cast in the artist’s atelier circa 1865. It is signed ‘BARYE’ has a warm brown patina with red and golden undertones.
