Kuho Jung (b. 1962) is a Korean multidisciplinary artist whose work spans fashion, craft, film, and performance. He founded the brand KUHO and later led Samsung’s fashion division, becoming a key figure in shaping Korea’s minimalist design identity. Drawing on this diverse creative history, his current artistic work distills Korean tradition into contemporary forms.

Jung’s Bandaji series transforms the traditional Korean bandaji chest by replacing its wooden structure with transparent plexiglass while preserving handcrafted metal ornaments. This fusion reveals what is normally hidden, turning a functional object into a sculptural study of visibility, tradition, and modernity.
