Acrobats, c. 1922
A rare, early twentieth century bronze model of acrobats entitled ‘Los Acróbatas’ by Pablo Curatella Manes (Argentinian, 1891-1962). This early lifetime cast was produced by the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘Manes’, ‘C. Valsuani’, ‘Cire Perdue’.
