2016, Brown’s London Art Weekend
Published - 11th Jul 2016
July 1st to July 3rd 2016, Sladmore Gallery, London
Brown’s London Art Weekend gives visitors a unique opportunity to visit behind the scenes of some of Mayfair and St James’s premier art institutions. Over one hundred art establishments, including galleries and auction houses, will be open over the weekend, with a diverse programme of art talks and walks curated by contributors including Paul Smith and Nicole Farhi.
Currently on show at our Jermyn Street Gallery is an exhibition commemorating the centenary of Rembrandt Bugatti’s early death in 1916. Our gallery experts will be giving talks on the life and work of Rembrandt Bugatti, focusing on his time as artist in residence at Antwerp zoo and the story of Atlas the lion cub and its Greyhound adoptive mother, a piece unique completed by Bugatti in 1906.
