A rare, good quality twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Young Gazelle’ by Theirry Van Ryswyck (Belgian, 1911 – 1958). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Batardy Foundry, Brussels. Before casting it was signed and stamped in the wax: ‘Th Van Ryswyck’, ‘cire perdue Batardy Brussels’ and has a dark brown patina with reddy brown undertones.
