A good quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Woman Returning from the Fields’ by Jules Dalou (French, 1838 – 1902). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process by the Susse Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax. This cast has a dark brown patina with lighter brown highlights.
