The Start, c. 1924
A rare, unusual, early twentieth century bronze model of a Horse and Jockey entitled ‘The Start’ by Rene Paris, (French, 1881 – 1970). This bronze, signed ‘Rene Paris’ and inscribed ‘The Start’, has a medium brown patina with dark brown undertones.
