Aristide Maillol | French, 1861-1944

A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a standing woman entitled ‘Standing Bather, Second Version, Hand outstretched’ by Aristide Maillol (1861-1944). This sculpture was edited by Ambroise Vollard and cast using the sand cast process at the Florentin Godard foundry, Paris. It is signed with Maillol’s initials and has a warm brown patina with red and gold undertones.
