Albéric Collin | Belgian, 1886-1962
A rare, fine quality, twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Seated Fennec Fox’ by Alberic Collin (Belgian, 1886 – 1962). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and stamped in the wax ‘Alberic Collin’, ‘C. Valsuani Cire Perdue’. It has a dark brown patina with lighter reddy brown undertones.
