A good quality, nineteenth century bronze model of a ‘Seated Bear’ by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1796-1875). This bronze was produced using the lost wax casting process in Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax ‘Barye’. It has a warm brown patina.
