Edouard-Marcel Sandoz | Swiss, 1880-1971

A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Reclining Rabbit’, entitled ‘Lapin Decoratif’ by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This sculpture was cast by the lost wax process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed, inscribed and stamped in the wax ‘E. M. Sandoz’ and ‘Susse Frs Edts Paris’. This cast has a warm brown patina with golden brown highlights.
