Edouard-Marcel Sandoz | Swiss, 1880-1971
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Reclining Fennec Fox’ by Edouard Marcel Sandoz, (French, 1881-1971). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Susse Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax ‘ Ed. Sandoz’, ‘Susse Frs Edts Paris Cire Perdue’ and is stamped with the foundry circular stamp. It has a brown patina with black undertones.
