Rabat Joie, c. 1875
A good quality, nineteenth century bronze model of a pointer entitled ‘Rabat Joie’ by Arthur Waagen (French, 1833-1898). This bronze, inscribed ‘Rabat Joie’ and marked with an ‘S’ hunting brand in the side of the pointer, has a medium brown patina with lighter brown highlights.
