Francois Pompon | French, 1855-1933
A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Moorhen’ by Francois Pompon (French, 1855-1933). This bronze was produced using the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Prior to casting it was signed and inscribed in the wax and has a dark green and brown patina.
