A fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a middlewhite sow “Wharfedale Royal Lady” by Herbert Haseltine (American, 1877-1962). This bronze was cast by the sand cast process possibly at the Bedi Rassi Foundry, New York and is signed, dated and numbered on the bronze. It has a rich gilt patina with subtle dark brown / black overlay and is mounted on the original variegated black marble base.
