A fine quality nineteenth century atelier bronze model of a ‘Grouse’ by Pierre Jules Mene (French, 1810 – 1879). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process at the artist’s atelier, Paris. It is signed by the artist ‘P. J. Mene’ and has a dark brown patina with golden undertones.
