Carriage Horse, c. 1870
A fine quality, mid nineteenth century silvered bronze model of a ‘Carriage Horse’ by John Willis Good (English, 1845 – 1879). This bronze was produced using the sand casting method at the Elkington Foundry of Birmingham. It is signed by the artist ‘J Willis Good’, inscribed ‘Elkington & Co Ltd.’ and has a silver patina.
