Walking Jaguar, 1911-1912
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Petit Jaguar Marchant’, by Rembrandt Bugatti, (Italian, 1884-1916). This bronze was cast by the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed, stamped and numbered in the wax. This cast has a rich dark brown patina with golden highlights.
