Standing Boy, 1906

Rembrandt Bugatti

A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a ‘Standing Boy’ by Rembrandt Bugatti (Italian, 1884-1916). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Hébrard Foundry, Paris in 1907. Before casting it was signed, stamped and numbered in the wax.  It has a rich dark brown patina with reddy brown undertones.
