Reclining Ewe and Ram, c. 1870
A fine quality, nineteenth century pair of a ‘Reclining Ewe and Reclining Ram’ by Rosa Bonheur (French, 1822 – 1899). These bronzes, both signed ‘Rosa B’ and cold stamped by the foundry Peyrol, Paris and have a medium brown patina with darker brown undertones.
