Pierre-Jules Mene

A good quality, nineteenth century bronze model of a standing ewe entitled ‘Mouton des Vosges, debout’ by Pierre-Jules Mêne (French, 1810 – 1879). This bronze was produced using the sand casting process and is signed ‘P. J. Mêne’ It has a dark brown patina with golden undertones.
