Madame Felix Decori, c. 1908
A rare, fine quality, early twentieth century bronze model of a Seated Lady ‘Madame Felix Decori’ by Paul Troubetzkoy (Russian, 1866 – 1938). This sculpture was cast by the lost wax process at the Claude Valsuani Foundry, Paris. Before casting it was signed and dated in the wax. It has a rich dark brown patina with warm brown undertones.
