Christophe Fratin

A fine quality, nineteenth century bronze model of a ‘Monkey seated in an Armchair entitled ‘Clio’ by Christophe Fratin (French, 1801 – 1864). This bronze, signed by the artist ‘Fratin’ and inscribed ‘Clio’, has a warm brown patina with reddy brown undertones.
