A rare, fine quality, mid nineteenth century bronze plaque of an ‘Eagle with an Ibex’ by Antoine-Louis Barye (French, 1796-1875). This bronze signed ‘Barye’, has a dark brown to black patina with lighter reddy brown highlights.
