Antoine-Louis Barye

A fine quality, mid-nineteenth century bronze model of an ‘Asian Elephant’ by Antoine-Louis Barye, French (1796-1875). This bronze was produced using the sand cast process at the Atelier Barye / Brame. It is signed ‘BARYE’ and has a mid brown patina with reddy brown undertones.
